About the Role
As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for a specific class, overseeing the overall learning, development, and well-being of the students within that group. This role requires excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management skills, and a genuine love for working with children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across all subjects for the assigned grade level.
- Student Assessment: Evaluate and report on student progress and performance regularly, providing constructive feedback.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages participation and respect.
- Pastoral Care: Serve as the primary mentor and point of contact for students, addressing their academic and personal needs.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding student progress, school events, and any concerns.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, staff, and school administration on curriculum development, school activities, and educational initiatives.
- Professional Development: Commit to continuous professional growth and stay updated on the latest pedagogical practices.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education (B.Ed./M.Ed.) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience as a Class Teacher or relevant teaching role.
- Excellent proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Thorough knowledge of the relevant curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience teaching in a reputable institution.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and educational technology.
